Raphael - Finale!!

First of all, a huge thank you to everyone who left such helpful suggestions and encouraging comments.  I can't tell you how much help all of you have been.  Secondly, thanks to everyone who noticed that I've been misspelling Raphael's name all this time and didn't point it out publicly.   You left it for my sweetie to kindly point out (and he did it very gently, too, bless his pea pickin' heart).  The thing is, I've always known how to spell his name, and yet, time after time I spelled it wrong.  I wonder if I'm drifting into the stratosphere and just not thinking about spelling shortcuts... lol
So, here it is, the final adjustment to a drawing that I've loved doing.  Yes, it has been difficult for me, but I've learned a lot, too.  All in all, I feel satisfied with the outcome.  Of course, every time I look at it I see something else I could add (or subtract), but for the most part, I think I've reached a point where I'm ready to move on.  And yes, I have chosen another drawing to work on.  All I'll tell you right now is that it's another DaVinci .... did I spell that right?

Nancy, I think you've done a phenomenal job. You are really on a roll! And, as far as I'm concerned you did better than Raphael since you have the correct number of legs! ;)

Funny about the spelling! I consider myself a great speller, but something about being in the art mode turns it off. My sketchbook is full of spelling errors! He turned out wonderfully!

Amazing work! Your drawing is fantastic. I imagine you are learning so much by doing this series. But no, I didn't notice the spelling. My spelling skills (and typing)are so terrible I would never think to second guess someone's spelling :-)

That is a beautiful sketch! I am in awe of it. I love the old masters too. Recently I read a book about DaVinci called Math and the Mona Lisa which was great. Thanks for dropping by my blog, I had no idea we lived so close! I drive by Pinckney all the time on my way to my Mom's house down in Westland. It's a small world.
